The Christian Union isn’t a church instead students at CU are all part of different local churches. Find out more about some of the churches CU members go to and some friendly faces of the CU students and student workers who attend them.
At Lansdowne we are a loving family of Christians of all ages, and our heart is to glorify God and proclaim Jesus, in the Spirit and through the Word. We’d love you to be a part of this, wherever you are at in your relationship with Jesus right now. We meet every Sunday online at 10:30 where we hear from God’s word and how that applies to our life.
We believe knowing Jesus changes the way we live, so we want to support each other as we live to follow Jesus. Our student group will be meeting every Monday on zoom for a chance to catch up, play games, spend time digging into God’s word through a bible study and praying for one another. We hope that there will be opportunities for small covid secure socials soon!

Gateway is a vibrant family church, which serves people across the BCP area. We are a diverse, gospel-centred community who are passionate for God’s word and want to help people come to know Jesus. We’d love to be your home away from home!
We are currently running a physical Sunday service at 10am with limited tickets accessible through our church website. We feel that it is important to lean into meeting together physically and enjoying God as a family where we can. However in the current lockdown we are also offering a 10am livestream on Youtube with a chance to meet online as a church at 11am. Our wider church life groups happen throughout the week (via zoom), and alongside this we will be holding regular student and 20s meetups on Friday evenings to catch up and keep our student community connected.
Accessing our services: -Students can grab a ticket for one of our physical Sunday services at 10am here

Citygate is a warm friendly place with a great bunch of students. We have physical covid-safe services on Sunday mornings and it’s a good opportunity to make contact with other students. We also have prayer meetings on Zoom and our morning service is broadcast on Youtube and Facebook. On Tuesday nights 7.30pm we hold our student group where we can explore more of who God is calling us to be and discover a bit about His plans for us. This is at the Citygate Centre (near ASDA / the railway station).
At LOVECHURCH, Students are a core part of our church, and we as a team exist to help students know the love of God, to grow in their faith and to show Christ to others around them all while having fun. We want Bournemouth to feel like this is their home away from home, a safe place where they can be all God made them to be and discover what their God given purpose is. To know God’s love, to grow in His purpose for our lives and to be the fuel for Christ to ignite hope in Bournemouth. Uni life can be hard, but it can also be a great season in your life where you can search out and discover your own faith.
Join us at 10am on Sunday’s for our main church service which is broadcast on YouTube.

At Coastline Vineyard we are passionate about being church every day. Sure you’ll hear the latest worship songs from Bethel, and a cracking talk from one of our pastors, but at Coastline we want more. We want to love this town to life by being sold out for Jesus and committed to the cause. Honestly, Coastline probably isn’t for you if you only want just 2 hours of church each week!
Join us online at 10:30am for a Sunday Experience on YouTube, and connect with others in virtual life groups afterwards. If you want to find out more about what happens at students, check out our Instagram @studentsatcoastline or join our Facebook group 'Students at Coastline'. We have loads of fun activities coming up to get connected with!
We are a small congregation with traditional Gospel Hall services. At the moment, we are unable to meet physically, but services are being held online. Sunday morning would normally be a “Breaking of Bread” service. Currently, we have a time of reflection with a message focusing on the Lord Jesus. In normal circumstances, we would have a Gospel Service in the evening – the message will be focused on the Good News of salvation offered to all who “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ” (Acts 16:31) Thursday evening is a Bible Teaching meeting. In the New Year, we hope to commence consecutive studies on a Bible book or a Bible subject. Friday morning should be an informal Coffee Morning for any who want to come. We hope that it will be possible for to recommence this in due course.
