Lansdowne Church

At Lansdowne we are a loving family of Christians of all ages, and our heart is to glorify God and proclaim Jesus, in the Spirit and through the Word. We’d love you to be a part of this, wherever you are in your relationship with Jesus right now. We meet every Sunday at 10:30am and 7pm where we hear from God’s word and how that applies to our life and join together to worship Him.

We believe knowing Jesus changes the way we live, so we want to support each other as we live to follow Jesus. Our student group will be meeting every Monday for a chance to catch up, play games, spend time digging into God’s word through a bible study and praying for one another. We are passionate about being family together and living life together so we also have socials, student lunches (after the morning service) and one to one mentoring.

Gateway Church

Gateway is a vibrant family church, which serves people across the BCP area. We are a diverse, gospel-centred community who are passionate for God’s word and want to help people come to know Jesus. We’d love to be your home away from home!

We are currently running a physical Sunday service at 10am with limited tickets accessible through our church website. We feel that it is important to lean into meeting together physically and enjoying God as a family where we can. Our wider church life groups happen throughout the week (via zoom), and alongside this we will be holding regular student and 20s meetups on Friday evenings to catch up and keep our student community connected.

CityGate Church

Citygate is a great place for students. We are a large friendly church with people from loads of countries and backgrounds. That's reflected in our student group too, and whether you are newly looking into faith or have been a Christian for years, you are guaranteed a warm welcome. Most students attend the 11am service at the Citygate Centre (opposite the train station). There is lots going on, and we encourage students to get involved with serving and enjoying other church events.

Citygate Student Group is for anyone in the 18-25 age-group. As well as having fun and making great friendships, we are here to help you grow in your faith and to experience more of God's amazing love. We meet every TUESDAY in term time - 7.30pm in the Community Wing of the Citygate Centre (accessed via the left hand side of the building). We have a different focus for each of 4 weeks - teaching; bible study; worship and socials. The group is led by an wonderful team of non-student and student leaders.

GEM Groups - Most weeks we get into smaller groups (GEM groups) for some part of the evening - they'll help with building great friendships with others in your own year. We have GEM groups for each year group and a 'Graduate' group for recent graduates and Masters students.

LoveChurch

At LOVECHURCH, Students are a core part of our church, and we as a team exist to help students know the love of God, to grow in their faith and to show Christ to others around them all while having fun. We want Bournemouth to feel like this is their home away from home, a safe place where they can be all God made them to be and discover what their God given purpose is. To know God’s love, to grow in His purpose for our lives and to be the fuel for Christ to ignite hope in Bournemouth. Uni life can be hard, but it can also be a great season in your life where you can search out and discover your own faith. Join us at our 6:30pm service on Sundays! 

Student Nights - A time to gather together as a student community for hot food, games, worship, relevant talks and small group conversations to equip and encourage you as a student. Every Thursday night, from 7:30- 9:30pm. Come along and join us – we can’t wait to see you there! 

Student Belong Groups - We have launched our SBG! Spaces outside of the church walls around Bournemouth, facilitated by our students for our students all across BCP- in halls, flats, coffee shops, the beach, etc- to grow deeper in friendship and in faith; praying, in community, as they navigate university life together.

Moordown Baptist Church

MBC is a community of believers from all ages and backgrounds united by the good news of the gospel.

We believe there is no better life than one lived following Jesus and we exist to help others on the journey.

Coastline Vineyard

Coastline Vineyard's tagline is 'Love the King, Live the Kingdom'-our main priority is a personal relationship with Jesus and out of that place being the hands and feet in our communities. Our Sunday gatherings consist of worship, teaching from the word, fellowship and great coffee! We also meet mid-week for our life group every Wednesday evening that are led by students. There are lots of opportunities to grow in your calling and we encourage every student to get stuck into the church body. From October, our gatherings are being multiplied and we will meet at a 9:30 or 11:30am at St Albans. For September, it is our 10:30am gathering.
